Hi well this is some debate that hasn't got off the ground yet but I for one believe in no sex outside marriage and that includes no foreplay or any of those other barriers can cross!Now a lot of people will go thats too hard but I am 36 still single and craving that special someone I KNOW God has for me and I have never crossed the line!I do not believe that a commited relationship is truly commited if you aren't married. what's to stop one of them walking out on you when they feel like it and then there is all the legal ramifications! (which in the uk means no rights concerning medical info if your partner is hospitalised etc)I believe in marriage, chastity until marriage and faithfulness once married.And I believe God blesses those who are faithful to his teachings.I hate having had to wait so long with still no end in sight but I believe His timing is perfect and that he is doing a work in me and probably in my husband to be too.I know I will look back one day and say "that is why god had me wait and it was so worth it!I hope you get more replies to your questionTeri

The bible is for all time. And fornication is a sin no matter how you slice it or what kind of pretty love package you try to put it in.

The Bible will never be outdated. The word is true and forever. Sanctified sex outside of marriage? Stop it. Just another way to downgrade the Bible to our level. The devil is busy. why are we so confused.

I found this blog just by clicking on "next blog" and was surprised to see the question posed here.No sexual intercourse before marriage, including "heavy petting" that stops just short of consummation, that's what I go by, but then, you only have one life to follow through on that, and only one chance to break the rule.What bothers me is that even in the churches pre-marital sex is almost assumed to be universal and of negligible harm, especially between a couple already committed to getting marriage, and even in the Orthodox Church (my affiliation).Your question is part of a far greater problem that our culture is dealing with, and that is, the loss of faith. By this I don't mean the loss of religion's influence on society. That may have held down some latent evils but it never eradicated them, and never will, should religion make a come back.The loss of faith means, no longer knowing for sure that there is a moral God who really cares enough about us as individuals to want us to lead responsible, moral and (from His point of view) successful lives.
